We would obviously have more chance of responding to this review if more information was provided. "Poor customer service" "tried to make us pay for costs that are the landlord's responsibility" are very vague and as a result we are questioning the authenticity of this review. If there are issues at a property which the tenant has caused, these would obviously not be paid for by the landlord. Condensation is a tenants responsibility as a condition created by those living in the property, this if untreated can go on to cause mould issues. This is what we felt on initial visits was the case. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Had to pay a fee every time a contract needed re-signing. This was said to cover administration costs but seemed very high as all it involved was printing out a contract and spending 10 minutes going through and signing it with us.

We have to take issue with the review left by the above landlord. At no time did we ever say a section (with an n) 21 notice needs 3 months service. It is true a period of time must be allowed for good service of a notice. Our instructions from the landlord were to issue the notice on the day the rent period expired, which would have been too late for it to take effect when the landlord wanted it to. Dear 'JDog'. Firstly I would like to apologise if you in any way felt that fees were not made clear to you or that you feel that you did not get accurate information from the staff here.
