Thank you for your anonymous review. As you will know if you are a lettig agent all deposits are held in a deposit scheme, which will either be done by the landlord or the agent. In this instance the deposit was held via the landlord in DPS and you were not the lead tenant. No matter how mant times you call you should know as a letting agent we are not able to refund money we dont hold LA Phipps ...

Thank you for your review The DPS is allways given all the information we hold when processing the depost. Which has done in this case although I understand you are not happy with the outcome. The problem occured when you as landlord varied the tenancy by putting the house up for sale midway through the tenancy, which the agreement did not give you the option to do. What agent could do to change your mind?
An apology would be nice to start with, but ultimately aiming for at least a modicum of competence and kindness in dealing with clients might be a better long-term strategy.

Thank you for your anonymous posting. We always act promptly in returning deposits to tenants. We follow a strict proceedure in returning all our deposits and make sure that landlords and tenants are both in agreement about the deductions, in line with the deposit protection service we use.
