I was moving down to London from Edinburgh where agents fees have been abolished, yet in terms of the price charged from Kerr & Co they were quite reasonably in comparison to some other agencies in London that can run into the hundreds.

I find this review interesting, firstly it surprises me that Foxtons actually got a value right! I imagine this was more luck than judgement! But it concerns me that you are rewarding an a local independent agent with praise for getting it wrong this seems a little silly. I would expect them to get the values right. I am glad the service you received made up for the lack of accuracy or Overvaluing on price. ...
