The fees at the start of the tenancy were expensive, but no higher than other agents I have dealt with. My rating therefore probably reflects my overall views of fees associated with renting! If there was a neither satisfied nor dissatisfied option I would have selected that.

Agent fees are always high but when searches are being carried out for 4 people they seem to run into nearly thousands. Considering that the landlord is also likely to be charged for the services of the agents the fees seem excessive.

Tenant Fees

Overall Fees
£0 (inc. VAT), On Completion

Fees applying to all new tenancies from 1st June 2019
We may charge a tenant any or all of the following when required:
the rent, a security deposit with a maximum of 5 weeks rent, or 6 weeks on a property with rent over £50,000 per year;
a holding deposit of no more than one weeks’ rent;
default fee for late payment of rent (after 14 days);
reasonable charges for lost keys or security fobs;
payments associated with contract variation, at £50 or reasonable costs incurred if higher, when requested by the tenant;
payments associated with early termination of the tenancy, when requested by the tenant;
The Agent’s fees for these services are as follows:
Tenant Finders Fee - 10% + VAT of the per annum rental
Contract Fee - £150.00 + VAT
Inventory and Schedule of Condition + Check In of Tenants - £195.00 + VAT
Check Out - £95.00 + VAT and
payments in respect of bills - utilities, communication services, TV licence, council tax and green deal or other energy efficiency charges.
