The only reason you got a response as quickly as you did was because you called one of your investor guys, they made me an offer way below what my house is worth, even in this bad economy. I only agreed to the offer because I was told to do so by Andy so that I did'nt lose the buyer, as it would give me a chance to try and achieve the price that I can actually afford to sell at. ...

This complaint is still ongoing. I have now completed 3 complaint letters and have escalated through the various local and now regional offices. I have finally received the complaint process for the property ombudsman so I am due to follow up shortly. It is certainly easier to withhold part of their fee than it is to reclaim it. The complaint responses I have received so far are pretty much in line with their general attitude, i.e. poor. They try and fob you off with poor excuses and many f ...

This is what Haart do. There value your property and quote a fee based on a % of the valuation. They don't actually explain this verbally, but it is actually a fixed fee and it is in the agreement so if you don't spot this when you sign you are stuck. The first you normally become aware of this is when you receive the schedule of fees once you have accepted an offer by which time it is too late to use your cooling of period. I tried to get Haart to provide evidence that they clearly communic ...
