What agent could do to change your mind?
Original letter of complaint dismissed by Director of Goadsby. Complaint should have been investigated through the correct channels instead of a reply being sent to us within 30 mins denying any bad service or unprofessional behavour. Also included in the reply was a reminder that if the agreed commission was not paid by the deadline date interest would be then be charged on a daily basis.

Given that the response from "A. Resident" refers to something they couldn't possibly deduce from the original comment, I think it's fairly clear that they're a Goadsby stooge who'd rather attack somebody on an unrelated matter than deal with any criticisms. It would seem that "Goadsby's Favourite Customer" might well have a point. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Improve their attitude to tenants. Certain senior lettings staff are unbelievably rude and treat the tenant with contempt, this needs addressing urgently, it is upsetting, it makes you feel uncomfortable and borders on bullying. Improve communications and systems as the left half does not speak to the right, mistakes are frequent. Ensure accounts staff are available on the day to check electronic payments of all sign ups or inform them that you cannot take electronic payments on a Saturday! Properties need to be adequately maintained and when they're not the agent must fix the issues, a tough luck response is not good enough.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Be more professional, doing their job instead of blaming others for their mistakes, or blaming the tenants instead of themselves. Telling us all the information we need to know at the beginning so no trouble like this would accrue so near to moving in dates! There is so much that they have no way of improving.
