Glenda Bassett established the company in 1991, with her daughter Nancy Williams joining her as a partner in 2004.
The Company has gone from strength to strength and has just won for 2021 Silver for Best Lettings Branch of the Year in Devon and Gold for Best Lettings Branch of the Year in Tavistock under the AllAgents Award. They also won in 2019-2020 Gold in the British Property Awards and Silver 2019 Property Lettings AllAgents Award.
Our team have an excellent knowledge of Landlords and Tenants expectations, ensuring that each property is matched to individual requirements. Our aim is to achieve a successful and stress free let for both Landlord and Tenant.
Based in Tavistock, GB Property Management & Lettings covers an area spanning West Devon and East Cornwall, including Dartmoor, the surrounding villages, and extending to the Northern outskirts of Plymouth. All our properties are presented to a high standard and comprehensive emergency support is provided when required.
In addition to offering a bespoke service, we have a daily updated website that showcases all our properties in easy to understand, uncomplicated categories, providing a wide selection of styles and sizes encompassing studio flats, family homes, townhouses and rural retreats. Detailed photographs give a comprehensive view of aspect, interior and location. Our online registration form is easy and straightforward to use, and we are always happy to arrange an informal chat without any obligation. We look forward to being able to assist you.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Complaints Procedure

We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients and customers. When something goes wrong, we
need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards.
If you have a complaint, please put it in writing, including as much detail as possible. We will then respond in line with the
timeframes set out below (if you feel we have not sought to address your complaints within eight weeks, you may be able
to refer your complaint to the Property Ombudsman to consider without our final viewpoint on the matter).
What will happen next?
• We will send you a letter acknowledging receipt of your complaint within three working days of receiving it,
enclosing a copy of this procedure.
• We will then investigate your complaint. This will normally be dealt with by the office manager who will review your
file and speak to the member of staff who dealt with you. A formal written outcome of our investigation will be sent
to you within 15 working days of sending the acknowledgement letter.
• If, at this stage, you are still not satisfied, you should contact us again and we will arrange for a separate review to
take place by a senior member of staff.
• We will write to you within 15 working days of receiving your request for a review, confirming our final viewpoint on
the matter.
If you remain dissatisfied, you can then contact The Property Ombudsman to request an independent review:
