FJ fees were more competitive than some of the larger chains. Tarkan also put together an incentive plan should we not reach certain price thresholds and periods on the market. In the end these were not necessary as the flat sold very quickly for a price we were delighted with and therefore Tarkan fully deserved his fees. We were considering selling the flat ourselves through an online portal but I think Tarkan has worked very hard on our behalf to get us to exchange of contracts, something that is probably underestimated is just how much time and effort this takes. Tarkan also got us a better price than we could have negotiated ourselves as I think having a middle man to hide my rubbish poker face was important.

We paid 340 for reference check plus 60 for a simplified one for my wife. As we had no bank account or tenancy history in the UK the reference check made no sense so that seemed a bit hefty.
