The agent overvalued the property and then locked me into a six-month contract at 1.25%. Other (Independant agents) would have charged 1%. They lost me my right to cancel by insiting I sign in their office.

I had viewed two properties with James who was very helpful and finally found me the exact property that I wanted so I had made my offer and given all my details gave an offer of the asking price of ‚£1000 the next day James called me to say the landlord wants ‚£1050 so I told him the property is advertised as fully furnished bit in reality does not have the right mattresses for the beds or have sofas so it's part furnished that were rented out to my friend for ‚£925 so it is very unreasonable for you to ask for that amount which he totally agreed to. However the following day I had spoken to the manager and said wether it's ‚£1025 or ‚£1050 I want the property to which there were no response from fox and sons Crawley so I went into the branch for the third time and was told James is on holiday for one week and Jim was looking after his work.
I asked him why don't we have an agreement when I have offered the asking price even though that is way above the market value. His response was that the landlord wants even more money and that they were asking for ‚£1100 and they had already booked 5 more viewings on Monday which made me furious and walk away from any dealings with them only to find the property on right move for ‚£1050 which was my offer.
I would never advise anyone to deal with Jim as he is a liar and total fraud. I own many properties and businesses but never have I ever dealt with anyone as rude or unprofessional as James which lead me to leave my first ever review so you can imagine how angry I must have been with the attitude and lack of professionalism of Jim.
