The fee was fair (0.3% of selling price). It was paid up front, which saves a bit. But there was a concern how hard would the agent work for us. But they worked very hard!

The person who come to give the value of the property wasn't very good. He was professional in taking the pictures but I had to call the estate agent to give a better description of the house to make it much more attractive to sell, as end of the day, an estate agent they want to sell a house! As the house went over the asking price, I could have put my house "offers in excess" instead of recommend/asking price. As 2 buyers went over the asking price.
