I wish ‘Hannah’ had entered more specific details about her issues so these could be properly investigated. At the moment I have no way of knowing which properties or which branch she is referring to. As an estate agent we would not earn any commission until a property is sold so it would make no sense to prevent ‘Hannah’ from offering on properties or being in frequent communication with her. What agent could do to change your mind?
Not putting pressure on us about where we were taking out our mortgage and conveying services from. With the property we have now purchased, we were not asked for this information until after the offer was accepted. Would have preferred to just show an 'agreement in principle' if they had wanted to check we could afford the properties that they lined up viewings for.
