What agent could do to change your mind?
The agency could have been actively involved in negotiations with landlord in order to get things done. For example, we had the main garage door broken for one year, right since the begining of the tenancy, even when they had said that the door would be fixed just after the renting started.

Dear Marc I am very sorry that you are so disappointed with our service. It is important to state that DAA Residential was instructed as the letting agent and NOT as the managing agent. This means that you had to deal with the landlord direct in all issues concerning property maintenance repairs. Our contract with your landlord was to introduce tenants to the property and help with renewals. We made you aware of that at the start of the tenancy. We also made you aware of our renewal charge. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?

Yes, like me. If the final inventory is totally sided to the Landlord & Agency, then they claim for many silly thing like dust on top of radiator (which was much worst when we rented the house), or broken things which we did not report by email (just by phone), then the part of the deposit they claim is far too much and TDS will go for a 50% shared solution. Any way they steal your money by doing bad practices and not being honest business people. Be very carful with this Agency, and writ ...
