Paul is a tenant who has upset the cleaning staff, his fellow house sharers by his messy cooking habits. Several staff here at cj have received complaints relating to Paul during his tenancy – not just his Landlady from fellow tenants, ex-tenants and the cleaning team who clean the communal parts of the house her shares. Dear Paul,
There have been no lies by the agent after you vacating your flat. The ruling in favour of the Landlord due to the appalling state the flat was left in was made in the correct, legal and fair manner. The agency does not have any control over what money is kept to pay for any damages that you have made. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
