I first met with Arthur (Arturs Ntiri) on 17/8/18 at the city rooms office in Stepney Green where I agreed on a property to move in to on the 13/10/2018. I paid my £300 holding fee and was told I could view the property a few weeks prior to my move in date to make sure I was 100% happy. On 25/9/18 I text Arthur to ask if we could arrange a viewing and his response was ‘Hey Allana, thanks for your message. I hope you are well, sure no problem. Dear noyb123 (which translates to "none of your business"), Before I proceed, I must explain that Cityrooms don't operate a standard letting process where we let and manage on behalf of a landlord and simply act as a liaison between landlord and tenant, reporting from the tenant and taking instructions from the landlord as necessary. Rather, Cityrooms enter into an agreement with the property owner which gives us the right to sublet individual rooms under separate tenancy agreements. The prop ...

He assured me that the deposit that if I change the view of the deposit will not come and will be returned. When I asked to return the deposit the cityrooms ignore me. When I asked for a tour of the room. he said that I had to pay the deposit and then they showed me a room. Do not trust this agency.

Some time ago, my friend and I wanted to take a double room through the agency, so we will not have any problems. As I said, I gave the City Rooms Agency an employee named Leonardo told us he had a room in Bromley By Bow and asked how long we wanted to stay, six months or a year. We said to start for a six-month contract. He told us that we have to pay for a 5-week deposit and that we can do it in 2 installments, the first for 2 weeks and a month, the rest, or all the time We paid the deposit for 2 weeks and within 5 days we were to move and sign the contract. The day we had to sign the contract (last Wednesday) I was faced with the fact that the contract is only for 2 months, not even for 6 months, and that after some time we have to come to the office to talk to someone else Renegotiate the price and possibly get something to rent. I received a mail from a certain Danilo who is a negotiator and told me to come today to see what we can do, I quote: "Today at 10am I will be in the office" At 10:45 am I was in front of the office and find out that Mr. Danilo is not at work today, he does not know if he's coming. I call him, he rejects me and sends me a message telling me that he's trapped if we can get to the table afterwards. You say, does it seem right to you what this agency does? It has brought us to the limit of patience.
