Comment on agent fees
I thought the Rent of the Flat was very competitive and I could not have expected to pay any less. Even the fees for their initial services were pretty affordable and reasonable compared to other letting agencies. But what I found a little expensive was a ‚£75 fee for signing a new agreement for extending the tenancy after the initial 6 months period was over. This was the first time I had to pay anything for extending contracts and I thought ‚£75 was too high.

Scott, Thank you for taking my call the other day. The property your are referring to is on Mayfield Rd where the landlord appointed us to market a ground floor and a top floor flat. The flat you were interested in was the top floor 3/4 bed room flat. As explained over the phone, your offer was too vague as you had no form of g/teed income wage slips, tax returns etc which the l/lord was unwilling to accept. They should have done what a professdional agent would have done. I was told they were a managing agent, however they had zero delegated authority to carry out any repairs. This is unacceptable and they should not be taking on landlords via this arrangement. It took weeks to have anything done and there is still unwanted furniture in my flat that should have been removed over 5 months ago. I am moving out in two weeks and it will be a happy day. They also charge ‚£25 for an exit reference which after the problems i had was just an inslut.Attached Filesnbsp;

Fully agree with all the disappointed tenants. It is very obvious why landlords/vendors are very happy with their services while tenants are disappointed/dissatisfied. If you are giving ''big'' business to the agent like selling your house, renting your house (a continuous business), then you get very good services. If you are just a tenant, who comes and goes, who doesn't own any property, it doesn't do the agent any good to fight for your rights and offend his ''big'' clients (the landlord/own ...

Tim, As mentioned many times over we have to get l/lords consent on all repairs associated with your property, you know full well that this is the case as you have been contacting the l/lord as well. To say that we are to blame is grossly unfair and an untrue statement. ...
