The understand the fees but felt £90 entrance and exit inventory is quite a lot (£180 total) as no doubt the next people to move in will have to pay the same for a check that was just done prior to them moving in. The other fee that caught us off guard was having to have a professional cleaner clean the property once we leave. I understand keeping the place clean but to waste money on a cleaner just so we don't get a unknown charge once we leave is just unfair and feel the overall result should be down to the property owner once they have checked the place and agree with the tenants if a clean is needed or not prior to just moving out.

Just prior to any new tenants moving in our Inventory Clerk visits the property and compiles a detailed Inventory Report. This containes an overview of the properties condition and protects the interests of both landlord and tenant. I feel the inventory should be part of the initial fees and an additional charge shouldn't be made....the VAT on all charges is also a drain on an otherwise good income. I don't fully understand the amount being charged in the first month and struggle to see how this amount is justified...a breakdown maybe helpful to future customers,unfortunately this fee is the same for most sales and letting agents.However,these fees are competitive and I did receive a 50% discount on either the first months rent or 50% off the monthly fee,usually 10% reduced to 5%.Beresfords are the best in terms of other sales and lettings agents fees. Together with friendly staff and good service,they are the right agent to use.

Agents fees were fair, not the cheapest, not the dearest but completely spot on, for the level of service, attention to detail AND the results. I've used cheaper online agents before, but you get what you pay for and i know, it was sold better, quicker and more effectively by them than it would of been elsewhere so their fee was earned in the sale price achieved
