What agent could do to change your mind?
Belvoir Lettings could have held accurate records of tenants deposits. Instead, the deposits were not recorded and not registered with the appropriate scheme. Belvoir should also be aware of transactions carried out by there franchisees and also take responsibility when something does go wrong with one of their offices. Landlords are lead to believe that they are backed by the name 'Belvoir' when really there is no backing, the offices are just individuals trading as Limited Companies and if anything does go wrong landlords recieve no help from the umbrella of Belvoir.

Thank you for your feedback, however I find your comments to be untrue and unfair. I have tried my very best to be helpful throughout your tenancy and have always communicated with you to keep you updated about maintenance, on one occassion a contractor wanted to attend to fix the shower door but you couldnt be present due to work commitments. In theory there is no realtor fees in Scotland to rent. But I had to pay for everything using this realtor as they have use fee of checking the house every three months key fees, etc...

What agent could do to change your mind?
We are totally disappointed with the lack of service received from Belvoir Lettings for the entire time my son rented his flat through them. When he moved in the place was filthy with fittings ie blinds etc. literally hanging off the walls in a disgusting state. The bathroom was just a meca for damp with no window and no working extractor fan and the sink was hanging off the wall. The agent was completely ineffective and took weeks to action any repairs - even when the so called repairs were done the problems still remained and the agent just didn't care. The cleaning bill on moving out is a complete and utter joke. The agent wants ‚£120 to clean a flat that is the size of a postage stamp and was cleaner than when my son moved in! I have phoned the agent so many times I've lost count but have only ever received one call from them. They say they have asked for a breakdown of the cleaning bill but one has never arrived so you can only draw your own conclusion from that. Eventually I'd had enough of the totally ineffective letting agent and so asked to speak with the manager. What a mistake that turned out to be. Mr Lewis Stuart was extremely aggressive on the phone and refused to listen to anything I had to say. My daughter was in the same room and although I had the phone against my ear, she said she could hear him from the other side of the room! He was not interested in anything I had to say and had zero customer service skills. Belvoir have reduced the cleaning bill to ‚£90 however when I asked for a breakdown of how they had arrived at this new figure Mr Stuart said he had 'plucked it out of the air'. How is this right?? I would never use this particular branch of Belvoir again and would urge others to steer clear as the company clearly doesn't have tenants best interests at heart.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Charge less admin fees and not con me out of my deposit. The are a bunch of thieves and stole 66 pounds for one unjustified issue: a dirty oven. The most annoying thing is that the inventory stated that the oven was dirty when we moved in. There is a 60 pound dispute admin fee so you can even use the deposit dispute service! I am so annoyed and feel completely cheated and coned!

Replied to complaints, cleaned the property prior to our move and actually listened to our pleading for help. We needed a second set of keys, clean carpets and a safe place for our family to live.
