Terrible. We let our house through this agency and we'll never do so again. There was inadequate inspection of the property to which considerable damage was done. During the tenancy, responses to emails were incredibly slow. Try somewhere else is out recommendation....

Dear Allison We were very disappointed to read your review as we do care about how our landlords properties are handed back. We had until this tenancy not had any issues. We were extremely unhappy to discover that the firm who carried out the check out had not noted this damage and we have ceased using them as we have also had a couple of issues at other properties during the same period. If I hadn't made myself clear in the comment, let me point out that the owner spoke at the property informed of an exchange date that had been confirmed. I highly doubt that an offer was made on the Friday and the exchange date was in place for the Monday. I must also stress that the gentleman didn't once apologise. So, no, the situation wasn't explained to me. And I should have been told of any development before I came to your office for a viewing after an hour of travel, not when I got to you ...

I dont really agree with all the fees for credit check ect ect as credit score can be done online for free. But all letting agents do this not just belvoir.

Belvoir are not the cheapest... but I believe the well known adage, 'you pay for what you get' holds true and, as an overseas landlord I am happy to pay the little extra for the assurance and comfort it brings to know everything is being managed well.
