What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent needs to drastically improve their communication skills across the Eastleigh branch. They need to have clear policies laid out for leaving a property. No action with deposits should be taken unless all parties on the contract have agreed to it. Need to make customers aware if there is a delay in the processing of paperwork and why. Needs to improve on communication skills when talking to customers and nothe have a nonplussed attitude.

The house is far too expensive. It was a new build that was poorly maintained. No plumbing for a dishwasher. You were not able to have a shower in the master bathroom as the walls would have be ruined as the waterproofing ie. tiling was virtually non existent. The overall space was minimal and deceptively large when the property was empty. There was noise every night through the thin walls from the neighbours. I would say the property is only worth ‚£750 a month.

The property in question was an introduction property, and as such you are obliged to pay your rent directly to your landlord as after you move in we would not have any involvement in the tenancy, and as such is the reason that we do not hold spare keys as this is not a requirement, and the landlord would take care of this. The same would go for the inventory as the landlord would have undertaken this himself. In terms of the deposit, this was returned by ourselves with in the stipulated 14 d ...

Thank you for your feedback. When tenants leave a property we have a duty of care to Landlord and tenant in terms of properties being left in a similar condition compared to when a tenant first moved in. Or course we take into account general ware and tare but if there is a noticeable difference then we have to act fairly.
