Its most companies policy to substantiate an offer before putting it forward so yes they would have asked the cash purchaser! I can assure you no one cares what your bank balance is as long as you have enough to buy the property! Its all about the sales! ...

I agree got my house on the market (just found this site) felt upset and insulted by a member of thier staff who kept knocking money of the value of my property to a stupid amount and pushing pushing to accept saying no one would bid more than the 20,000 less than the lowest offer, I had already knocked 20,00 off for a quick sale and she told me that no one would want it as too much work needed to be done. ...

You just can't buy a property with them, because they are soooo not straight forward and they lie about other offers. That is why I wouldn't sell my property with Bairstow Eves. I like straightforward agents who don't play stupid games....

I called on the weekend as I want to purchase two properties and I spoke to the rudest sales person ever who was having a conversation with someone else as I was talking and then refused to give me his full name. He said his name was Omar and that he was the manager but he sounded more like Ali G. ...
