@RJMMD, you say learn from this, but having an estate agent pushing you to complete by a certain date and the supposed buyers threatening to pull out if this was not met, I find it hard to realise why you cannot understand the situation, if you were in my position and you had the move or else aspect, what would you do, I mean moving is stressful enough without added pressure, so how can you sit there hiding behind your keyboard and blame it all on me, when I feel it is 90% the estate agents faul ...

Bairstow Eves are the most unprofessional bunch of people I have ever come across. I wish I had seen this site and these comments before we lost money. We are in the process of trying to find a home and thought we'd found the ideal property. The estate agents at the skegness branch were very helpful and we asked several important questions before putting in a offer and sending the surveyor round. However our question of "will time be a issue?" was answered incorrectly as their answer of "not at all we understand your position take all the time you need" as we have not been able ...

I'm concerned also that I may about to become a victim of what I believe to be Bairstow Eve's dodgy practise. I have had an offer accepted and an assurance from the vendor that the property will be removed from the market (a condition of my offer). However I received a letter a day later stating, the property remains on their register for sale and sho ...

Two of the above posts show how Estate Agents CANNOT WIN. The first poster states the agent sold the property to another buyer at the last minute and they will never use them again... etc... This one above has the buyer complaining that the agent wouldn't sell the property (that was already sold to someone) and therefore they won't use them again, etc, etc. Cant anyone see the irony in this!!.
