I'm very sorry that you had difficulty in letting a property through our agency. I can assure you that all of the reputable agents within the town take a holding deposit from tenants (some at a higher amount than our agency) at the time they are interested in letting a property. There is no ulterior motive to move goalposts or put barriers in the way of the letting as our Landlord only has to pay us fees if the tenancy proceeds, so it is therefore in our interests to ensure that the letting ...
