We should have been told at the point of mortgage application in detail that if the deal falls through tomorrow you are liable for ‚£399 for starting the mortgage process.I would have done it myslef, at the point we were told there is a ‚£399 fee for setting up the mortgage which is common as the estate agents can get better deals on occasions. They should not have lied when they knew a higher bid was coming in or had came in after accepting our bid. If they wanted to take the higher bid which i would have no problem with they should not be charging me ‚£399 for doing so.

What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have explained the opening hours of their accounts department and told me to have either made a bank transfer earlier on in the week so that they could have checked it was in their account or they could have told me to make a debit card payment - its frustrating because the money was already and I chose that method because I thought it would be easier and they were fully aware that I needed the keys today and that I was travelling 3 hours with a car full of stuff!!!

What agent could do to change your mind?
After renting a property through yourselves for over 3 1/2 years also being my first rented property. I would say all was fine par when I moved in the place was like a trash site. Nothing was cleaned, replaced or decorated. Then when I decided to leave the property. Never have I seen an unorganised clearly landlord biased service in getting a deposit back (The landlord hasn¢â‚¬â„¢t made a claim yet or responded but take this as that they do just so we can extend the 10 day legal deposit return period) The 10 days are there to protect the person renting but I see you just loop hole that regardless. I feel totally let down by sequence homes and totally uncared for. Delays caused by the inventory service, multiple delays from yourselves, multiple failed communications with me. I would never use your service or recommend your service to anyone. I have always been the one to phone up and find out the bad news on the mistakes/delay which should of been communicated with me the same day by phone not a few days or ¢â‚¬Ëœa oh sorry I forgot¢â‚¬â„¢ days later by e-mail. A quote for a sink that has taken well over a week. A net curtain not even included on my inventory then telling me I have to wait to see if it ok that the landlord doesn¢â‚¬â„¢t want to claim for something they cant legally claim for anyway. I have just moved home, I am stressed in need of the money which is rightfully mine during the most crucially tight part of the year. I sit here nearly a month on with ‚£0 returned. I am not at the point of writing a formal complaint to the property ombudsman, yourselves and considering taking it to Watchdog/CAB. I wonder how many other of your EX tenants are being treated this way.
