They need to learn that the tenants are their customers too. They need to learn some basic customer service skills. - and I have met alot of people which share my opinion, some of which are landlords with you.

They have no consideration for anyone once you have left them as a tenant. They are rude, aggressive and show no tact when dealing with delicate situations.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Terrible service, rude in the meetings and uninformative. When the house was signed for, we received nothing afterwards, no letters sent out until the landlord had been notified by us and then he would complain, making them change their ways. Although they would still then be of no use, so obviously this lessons aren't being learnt. Do not use this company if you are letting in Loughborough, there are many other companies, so forget about this. Just because they have a nice website, nice shop, it doesn't mean service will be good. Disgusted.

An update by ZORRO: We tried to refer AJ Reed to the Ombudsman but they did not belong to the organisation at the time. Our solicitor said that although we were in the right, they would lean heavily on their contract with us, which is heavily biased towards protecting their own interests. We had lost thousands of pounds. In the end we got some justice in knowing we were right and they had breached their contract. The NFOPP imposed a fine of £200 on A J Reed Lettings - the maximum sanction accor ...
