allAgents.co.uk, the UK's No.1 review and directory site for Estate and Letting Agents is pleased to announce the launch of our First ever Annual Review Awards.

These awards will truly be based on customer ratings and EVERY ACTIVE AGENT IN THE UK IS AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED. All the customer ratings and testimonials will be made available in the public domain. There are NO ENTRY FEES and it is for these reasons that many are telling us that theseare the most accurate and sought after awards within the industry to win.

These awards will be based on customer ratings posted on allAgents.co.uk in the period from 1st September 2012 to 31st August 2013. Only reviews and ratings given in the 12 months following 1st September 2012 will qualify. An Agent's existing reviews and ratings will remain visible on the site as they are at present and will continue to be affected by additional reviews as normal. However all ratings accumulated up to 31st August 2012 will not be considered in the calculations for the final standings.

The awards will be announced and published on the allAgents website at the earliest opportunity in September 2013. We have agreed with the EstateAgentToday and LettingAgentToday to allow them to exclusively cover the announcement of the results and league tables to the industry through their readership. Public announcemnets will be distributed through other national media organisations.

This is a great opportunity for agents that have not had favourable ratings in the past to show their customers that they have improved and are worth considering. Agents who have been enjoying the benefits of being amongst allAgents's top rated and transparent companies, will also need to continue their good works. They will need to encourage clients to rate and review them in the year to come as they cannot rely on their past ratings to bolster their position in the awards.

Other awards in the property business are given by industry peers, self-governing trade organisations or publications. This awards scheme is given as a direct result of what customers think and say.

allAgents will be categorising the awards for Estate Agent and Letting Agents, by major town or city, by region and by company size. We will also be making some additional special awards. More details on all the awards will follow soon.

It is important that every agent maintains a proactive stance with their customers to keep reviewing and rating them. Equally important, before 1st September every company should ensure that all the information that we have in the directory is up to date. This is key to ensuring that you are found easily by consumers and without the accracy of these “must-have” details, agents are losing out on ratings and sales:

• Branches – are all your satellite offices listed
• Branch details – address, Postcode, telephone, email, website address - these should be complete for every site
• Profile page – Profile paragraph on Main office or head office
• Organisation & network memberships – These should all be updated
